Marita Chisholm has a nursing background and graduated from La Trobe University with a Master of Health Science in 2003.  Marita commenced work at the Office of Research in June 2009 as a Research Assistant, working with Professor John Humphreys and Dr Deborah Russell examining workforce turnover and retention amongst allied health professionals.   Read more...
Emily Saurman is a PhD Candidate with the University of Sydney at the Broken Hill University Department of Rural Health. Emily’s PhD is an evaluation of the Mental Health Emergency Care - Rural Access Program – an emergency telepsychiatry program which aims to improve access to emergency mental health care and specialists for communities throughout western rural and remote New South Wales.  Read more...

  Dr Deb Russell is a Research Fellow in the CRERRPHC in the School of Rural Health at Monash University, Bendigo. She is undertaking a staff PhD by publication, under the supervision of Emeritus Professor John Humphreys and Dr Matthew McGrail.  Her research investigates rural and remote health worker retention and turnover.  Read more...
